Low Back Pain

According to experts, lower back pain is the number one disability culprit in workers' compensation claims and accounts for billions annually in the UK through and lost productivity. In addition, the latest research shows that many lower back problems which cause low back pain will not fully resolve without treatment and proper rehabilitation, contrary to previous beliefs.
Registered Chiropractors are unique in the health care field in that much of the training in the chiropractic university degree is specifically aimed at identifying and successfully treating/managing lower back conditions. The recent NICE guidelines recommends skilled spinal manipulation and exercises as only a handful of proven effective treatments for persistent low back pain, these are core skills of chiropractors.
Previous large scale research from the medical research council (UK) demonstrated that chiropractic treatments were significantly more effective than hospital physiotherapy treatments for persisting low back pain.
